Non-Agenda Public Comments/Member Comments

Members of the public shall have the opportunity to address the Public Safety Committee on any issue within the jurisdiction of SANDAG that is not on this agenda. Public speakers are limited to three minutes or less per person. Public comments under this agenda item will be limited to five public speakers. If the number of public comments under this agenda item exceeds five, additional public comments will be taken at the end of the agenda. Members and SANDAG staff also may present brief updates and announcements under this agenda item.

The Public Safety Committee is asked to approve the minutes from its January 16, 2026, meeting.

Draft FY 2027 Automated Regional Justice Information System Budget

ACTION: RECOMMEND

The Public Safety Committee is asked to recommend that the Board of Directors accept the Automated Regional Justice Information System Budget as presented at the March 27, 2026, Board meeting, as part of the FY 2027 Program Budget.

Draft FY 2027 Criminal Justice Work Program and Budget

ACTION: RECOMMEND

The Public Safety Committee is asked to recommend that the Board of Directors accept the Criminal Justice Work Program and Budget as part of the FY 2027 Program Budget.

Mid-Year 2025 Crime Preliminary Report

ACTION: INFORMATION

Dr. Rodriguez will present the preliminary results for the mid-year crime statistics for 2025.
