The members of the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council are asked to appoint a Chair and Vice Chair for the 2026 term.

Non-Agenda Public Comments/Member Comments

Members of the public shall have the opportunity to address the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council on any issue within the jurisdiction of SANDAG that is not on this agenda. Public speakers are limited to three minutes or less per person. Public comments under this agenda item will be limited to five public speakers. If the number of public comments under this agenda item exceeds five, additional public comments will be taken at the end of the agenda. Members and SANDAG staff also may present brief updates and announcements under this agenda item.

Approval of Meeting Minutes

The Social Services Transportation Advisory Council is asked to approve the minutes from its July 15, 2025, meeting.

SSTAC Membership Update and Solicitation of Volunteers

ACTION: INFORMATION

Staff will present details on the SSTAC membership and application process, identify opportunities to serve on the SSTAC, and solicit volunteers for the selection panel.

Specialized Transportation Grant Program Annual Update

ACTION: INFORMATION

Staff will introduce the Specialized Transportation Grant Program (STGP) and provide an overview of the progress made by STGP grantees and the Grants Division in calendar year 2024.

Unmet Transit Needs

Tim Garrett, SANDAG

ACTION: DISCUSSION

The SSTAC members and the public will have the opportunity to discuss new or continuing unmet transit needs in the San Diego region.

Updates from Transit Operators

MTS, NCTD, and FACT

ACTION: INFORMATION

Representatives from MTS, NCTD, and FACT will present updates on service changes and notable activities at each agency.

The next Social Services Transportation Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
