Josh Talmadge, UC Santa Barbara, presented an overview of the university's asynchronous, four-hour courses for law enforcement, firefighters, corrections, and social workers, which is fully covered at no-cost to the agencies through settlement funds. This item was presented for information.

Dr. Octavio Rodriguez-Ferreira presented findings from the latest Criminal Justice Bulletin: "Crime in the San Diego Region Through 2024." This item was presented for information.

ARJIS Director Anthony Ray presented an informational briefing on California Senate Bill 54 (Allen, 2017), including an overview of the legislation, a summary of ARJIS’s responsibilities and activities at the local level, and an explanation of ARJIS’s role in relation to federal partners.
