Interpretation: Meetings are conducted in English, and simultaneous interpretation is provided in Spanish. Interpretation devices are provided at the meeting. Members of the public shall have the opportunity to address the Shoreline Preservation Working Group on any issue within the jurisdiction of SANDAG that is not on this agenda. Public speakers are limited to three minutes or less per person. Public comments under this agenda item will be limited to five public speakers. If the number of public comments under this agenda item exceeds five, additional public comments will be taken at the end of the agenda. Members and SANDAG staff also may present brief updates and announcements under this agenda item.

The Shoreline Preservation Working Group is asked to approve the minutes from its September 4, 2025, meeting.

ACTION: DISCUSSION


SANDAG staff will ask for volunteers from the Shoreline Preservation Working Group members to serve on a Shoreline Policy Task force that will focus on updating SANDAG’s Shoreline Policies.

ACTION: DISCUSSION


An overview of the 2024 Regional Shoreline Monitoring Program (RSMP) results and the unveiling of the draft Open Data Portal dashboard for the RSMP will be presented to the Shoreline Preservation Working Group (SPWG). The SPWG is asked to provide feedback on the draft dashboard.

ACTION: INFORMATION


The Shoreline Preservation Working Group members will be presented an overview of the Surfline Coastal Intelligence camera monitoring system.
