    to recommend that the Regional Planning Committee approve the release of funds from the City of Encinitas’ Public Recreational Beach Impact Mitigation account to the City of Encinitas.

Deputy Director Keith Greer introduced Chris Webb, Moffatt & Nichol Engineering, to facilitate a panel discussion amongst representatives from the dredging industry, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and coastal engineers focused on beach nourishment dredging to provide insight into current practices, challenges, and opportunities to raise efficiencies and minimize costs.
