Non-Agenda Public Comments/Member Comments

Members of the public shall have the opportunity to address the Chiefs'/Sheriff's Management Committee on any issue within the jurisdiction of SANDAG that is not on this agenda. Public speakers are limited to three minutes or less per person. Public comments under this agenda item will be limited to five public speakers. If the number of public comments under this agenda item exceeds five, additional public comments will be taken at the end of the agenda. Members and SANDAG staff also may present brief updates and announcements under this agenda item.

The Chiefs and Sheriff's Management Committee is asked to approve the minutes from its February 4, 2026, meeting.

ARJIS staff will present updates from the business work group and the latest developments in ARJIS.

Budget and Accomplishments for the Automated Regional Justice System (ARJIS)

ACTION: RECOMMEND

The Chiefs' and Sheriff's Management Committee is asked to recommend that the Public Safety Committee recommend the ARJIS Budget as part of the FY 2027 Program Budget.

Budget and Accomplishments for the Criminal Justice Department

ACTION: RECOMMEND

The Chiefs' and Sheriffs' Management Committee is asked to recommend that the Public Safety Committee recommend the Criminal Justice Program and Budget as part of the FY 2027 Program Budget.

Mid-Year 2025 Crime Preliminary Results

Dr. Rodriguez will present the preliminary results for the mid-year crime statistics for 2025.
